European Skills Camp

European Skills Camp offers evasive skating and puck control skills taught throughout Europe. The reason we teach the European style of hockey is because it develops the player's skill sets, and increases the player's confidence with the puck during the game. Europeans do not believe in the “dump and chase” style of hockey that we play in North America. The Europeans believe in keeping possession of the puck as long as you possibly can. They believe this because when you “dump” the puck into the offensive zone you lose possession and therefore you are now on defense trying to regain possession.

Everything we do at Stride Envy is done in a progression format so that we can make sure that all of our students full grasp the knowledge and methods we teach. Progression is the most effective format in teaching and that is why our school systems are structured in that fashion.
